Sirena Sorcery Monster High Profile OC

Yes I am a Monster High Fan.

Blame the webisodes they are really addicting, and the TV specials, and the films......oh dear lord next I'm going to be buying the dolls!

Anyhoo after spotting that there are others on DeviantArt that also are huge fans of the show and that they have made their own profiles I decided to do one.

Before I go any further:

So yeah the link above is where I took the profile base.

Everything else colour and design wise which has been added I have drawn myself.

Background behind the design:
On the show they have 1 (so far) sort of mixed race character whose part Human (or normie) and part monster so I thought what about witch and another monster?

I noticed that you don't see any reference to witches in the show yet Mattel have recently brought out a doll range where you can make a witch yourself. Which got me thinking that maybe because witches are just Normies with powers that they're seen as outcasts by monsters (in this world Monsters are a little afraid and racist against humans)- and of course because they have powers they would be outcasts by Humans.

Also Sorcery is seen as like ten times worse than just general magic in every kind of media I've known so I wanted to add that aspect as well. And because I like to keep things tidy I stuck with the "s" theme and went with Siren as well.

I have made my own view of magic, witchcraft and sorcery to fit in with the Monster High Universe. So anything I say about Sorcery please don't take it for Canon from the show, it's just that there is no Canon for magic so I made up my own. If you do wanna use my version please go ahead as long as you give me a quick reference!

So she's half Sorceress and half Siren.

Her mum's the Sorceress which is actually her stronger side but due to the constant fears of her "kind" she has a slight chip on her shoulder when it comes to her maternal heritage. Her appearance has made it easier for her to mix well with other humans but monsters she struggles with just due to their fears.

Her powers at the moment have to be kept in check with a headdress piece that she must wear 24/7. One is due to a Sorceress doesn't come into her powers until 16 and won't gain any control until her twenties.
The other reason is that her natural parental powers are also coming into age and are ever so slightly clashing with her maternal.
She can't do any serious damage- just makes it rain- but that only happens if she keeps the headdress on her.

Her dad is a fairly famous singer in Europe but her doesn't have anything to do with her or her mum because she takes on more human aspects rather than his siren aspects. He basically doesn't acknowledge she exists which has made her ever so slightly loathe the idea of performing or becoming famous.

Her singing voice can sometimes control others and do other things which has freaked her out, and with no one there to guide her she shies away from singing all together.
But because she's part siren she does need to sing, so when she gets the urge she pops onto her motorbike and rides away from any living soul to sing her lungs out.

*whew* That was a lot!

Her outfit she currently has on is the toned down version of what I had originally drawn. I do plan on finishing that off and putting that up soon.

I had a lot of fun with this and might even write a Fanfic for Monster High with her included. And no I see none of the Canon male characters fancying her. I'm not that bad!

So yeah The character Sirena Sorcery belongs to me as do the views of Sorcery (for the Monster high world). So please no stealing!
